Hytten

Low-impact housing is the name of the game when it came to designing hytten. It's in the name, a tiny house is small and efficient, aiming to include all the comforts and functions of a normal house in the smallest space possible. That means no waste, not just in the space plan but in the materiality. The project is built from sustainable materials, otherwise wasted building components, joined together so they can be later disassembled and replaced in the future. Their small size means people can be housed more densely or with greater space between buildings. The light weight removes the need for concrete foundations, allowing for natural habitats to thrive.

Keeping it tiny!

The overall size of a tiny house is determined by the transportation.  To fit on a lorry, it must be within L=12000mm,
H=4000mm, W=4150mm. The height of the module must not exceed 4000mm (when being transported).
